Job Requirements

  • MBO/ HBO (secondary vocational/ higher professional) working and thinking level;
  • At least 5 years experience as a CNC miller in plastics or metal working;
  • 3–5 years experience with external programming of 3- and 5-axis milling machines;
  • Knowledge of and experience with One CNC is a plus;
  • Good command of English. English is the company language; Dutch is a plus but not required;
  • Because this is a job at location, we look for candidates living in the Netherlands.

Job description

HQ Plastics in Eindhoven, specialized in plastic processing, is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC-controlled machines to manufacture high-quality parts according to technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with the production department, engineers, and quality control to ensure an efficient and accurate production process. This is a daytime position. So, Mo-Fr 7h30 - 16h30.

Key responsibilities and core activities of a CNC Programmer at HQ Plastics:

  • Write, adapt, and optimize CNC programs and set up CNC milling machines;;
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications;
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deviations in the production process related to programming;
  • Contribute to process improvements (Lean, 5S, etc);
  • Report progress and any deviations to the supervisor and work preparation team;
  • Program 3- and 5-axis milling machines as part of a team of programmers, ensuring correct product output;
  • Work closely with engineers to analyze optimal work sequences and manufacturability;
  • Work with shape and position tolerances;
  • Adhere to safety instructions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
