Shiftleader Production

In this role you manage a team of 15-25 people and make sure the team is working safely and efficiently and meeting quality standards. You will report to the Team Leader, Yvo, and replace him when needed. Your main job is to lead the team well, create a positive work culture and stay on track of production targets.

In this role you act as the first point of contact for your team. You are the operational replacement in the absence of the Teamleader. The job is carried out in two shifts; one week early shift, the other week late shift. Your training period will take appr. 6-8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Leading improvement projects and making work better;

• Teaching and guiding team members on safety and quality;

• Checking and ensuring production and safety standards while promoting company rules and good behavior;

• Running meetings and shift handovers;

• Planning staff schedules with the Teamleader;

• Doing performance reviews and training new employees;

• Handling administrative tasks and coordinating with other departments;

• Focusing on safety, Lean, and 5S principles.

In this role you will have a lot of freedom and responsibility. You chair day starts and maintain a helicopter view. You will work in a diverse team and there is a lot of room for your own input. You’re not afraid to take ownership!
