Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or business control.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree level of thinking and working (HBO), preferably in Finance, Business Administration or Economics.
- Affinity with production environments, operations or high-tech industries.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
- Strong command of Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong command of the Dutch and English language.

Job description
Are you analytical, curious and ready to accelerate your career in an international high-tech manufacturing environment?
For our European operations, we are looking for a Business Controller Operations who is ready for their first or second career step. In this role, you act as a financial sparring partner for production management and directly contribute to improving productivity, cost control and operational performance.
You will operate in a capital-intensive, technologically advanced and fast-growing environment where your analyses and insights have a direct impact on the business. You will receive close guidance from the Group Business Controller, with plenty of opportunities to grow into a fully independent Business Controller or Business Partner role.
What will you do?
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting for production and departmental levels, including short-term planning (1–12 months).
- Support the monthly closing process and ensure accurate and timely operational financial reporting.
- Perform analyses on margin, costing, productivity, variances and cost structures within production, engineering and support functions.
- Translate financial results into clear management information and support investment analyses (CAPEX, ROI, business cases).
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support operations and monitor performance.
- Contribute to improvement projects, identify optimisation opportunities and support internal control and reporting standardisation.
- Act as the financial point of contact for production managers and collaborate closely with operations, engineering, supply chain and Group Finance.

- Group Business Controller (your direct manager)
- Operations management (local & European)
- Engineering, supply chain and local plant teams
- Group Finance for reporting and standardisation
