Job description
As a CNC Milling Machinist at Gebr. Nijssen, you will work on high-precision components for customers in the high-tech and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for producing single parts and small production runs, primarily in steel and stainless steel. Working with modern 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in CNC programming and CAD/CAM-driven manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture high-precision components based on technical drawings.
- Program, adjust, and optimize CNC programs.
- Produce single-piece products and small production series.
- Perform dimensional checks and quality inspections.
- Suggest improvements regarding manufacturability and production processes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department.
