Job description

At Seerden Industrial Packaging, planning is at the heart of our operation. As Operations Planner, you ensure that customer demand, production capacity, materials, and resources come together in an achievable and realistic plan.

You will be the link between Sales, Production, Procurement, and Engineering. Every day, you'll balance priorities, monitor progress, anticipate potential issues, and make adjustments where needed. When challenges arise, you don't wait for them to become problems. You identify bottlenecks early, involve the right stakeholders, and help the organization stay on track.

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a dynamic environment and who wants to play an active role in further improving our planning processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, and material availability.
  • Coordinate planning activities across Sales, Production, Procurement, and Engineering.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when priorities or circumstances change.
  • Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity constraints before they impact delivery performance.
  • Support and coordinate escalation management when deadlines come under pressure.
  • Advise stakeholders on lead times, priorities, and planning feasibility.
  • Ensure the efficient deployment of people, materials, and production resources.
  • Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system.
  • Monitor planning performance and delivery reliability through KPIs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help further professionalize the planning function within Seerden.

Your team

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with colleagues from Production, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, and Sales.

Seerden is a practical, hands-on organization where people know each other and work closely together. Decisions are made quickly, communication lines are short, and there is plenty of room for initiative. In this role, you'll have a direct impact on daily operations and the opportunity to help shape how planning is organized going forward.

Sounds like your next challenge? We'd love to hear from you.
