Job Requirements
- You have extensive experience in logistics and management
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Good command of the English language (both oral and written)
- Coaching skills
- Being able to operate a Forklift, EPT, Reach Truck and Stacker and being in possession of the necessary certificates or being willing to obtain them
- Emergency response certificate (BHV) is a big plus
- You are fulltime (40hrs) available

Job description
In this role you are responsible for the preparation, implementation and administrative processing of logistics activities at one of our new locations. You are also responsible for correctly carrying out maintenance, repairs and demolition of various packaging. In this role you act as the first point of contact for and manage up to 15 employees. You are the operational replacement in the absence of the team leader. The work is carried out in two shifts.
Your main activities as a Shift Leader Logistics include:
• Ensures an orderly and efficient running of the processes
• Supervises loading, unloading, product movements, storage, repair, demolition and maintenance work
• Contributes to the optimization of processes, makes proposals for improvements
• Performs work himself where necessary
• Ensures efficient deployment of employees, planning and coordinates technical disruptions with the technical department
• Directs and coaches employees, gives work assignments, transfers knowledge and arranges leave/holiday and illness
• Ensures compliance with company regulations in the areas of safety, environment and order/cleanliness
• Resolves unsafe situations, possibly in consultation with the manager and/or Quality department
• Must adhere to the given (safety) instructions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
