Job description
At Seerden, we design and manufacture industrial packaging solutions that safely transport high-value products around the globe. To support our continued growth and operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced Purchaser who can strengthen our supply chain, build strategic supplier partnerships, and ensure the timely availability of materials and components.
As Purchaser, you play a key role in the operational and strategic procurement process. You are responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and continuously identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from quotation requests to order placement and follow-up.
- Source materials, components, and subcontracted services in line with business requirements.
- Build, maintain, and further develop relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery conditions, quality standards, and contractual agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action where necessary.
- Analyze market developments, supply risks, and procurement opportunities.
- Ensure accurate procurement data and supplier information within the ERP system.
- Support inventory optimization while safeguarding material availability.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Project Management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost savings, process efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Your team
You will become part of a dedicated Operations team and report directly to the Operations Manager. In your role, you will work closely with colleagues from Production, Engineering, Planning, and Project Management. Together, you ensure that materials, components, and services are available at the right time, at the right quality, and at the best possible value.
